Merchant Account Account Maintenance Fee
The term account maintenance refers to a fee that may be charged when a processing bank is asked to do "maintenance" on a merchant account by the merchant.
For example:
If a merchant were to request that their banking information or business address be changed on their merchant account, the provider may charge a fee to make such changes. This is called an account maintenance fee.
