PC Credit Card Processing Software
PC credit card processing software resides on the hard drive of a computer, and is used to receive, capture, and transmit the information necessary to conduct electronic bank card transactions.
PC processing software does essentially the same thing as a regular credit card machine, but instead of being a stand-alone unit, it is a program this is loaded on to a (usually personal) computer. This program is used to process credit, debit, and possibly check transactions. PC processing software is often used with a magnetic card reader in conjunction with a retail merchant account.
